Arts and crafts with a toddler

Hey guys! This is just a serperate blog about some things I do with my son on the weekends. As we all know during the week can be so hectic with work and everything else! So I take advantage of our weekend time and try to make it a little more special where I give him a little bit more of some special undivided mommy time😊

So this weekend we made homemade slime. Gross right! But he got a kick out of it. His world right now is ninja turtle this and ninja turtle that. Loves him some Raphael! So I tried to incorporate some ninja turtle theme project ideas😊

My artistic skills totally stinks! But it’s not about that. Just about him and I enjoying eachother😊

We add his favorite food color, and add a full bottle of elmers glue to the water bwl

Then we mix, mix and more mixing!

And ta-daaa! We have slime! And he said the slime was matching Raphael 😛

And then we drew his favorite Teenage mutant ninja turtle characters on styrofoam!

In first box we add a tsp of borax detergent and a cup of water and stir into a bowl

Then we add a full bottle of elmers glue along with favorite food coloring and mix, mix, mix!

Then we combine and stir all ingredients together and Voila! We Have turtle slime! 😝😝😝

And he topped it off with painting his favorite characters on styrofoam board!

He loved it and he loved his pictures!!!

For a toddler it was a nice quick experiment !
